VMSA Families,
It is both an honor and privilege to be serving the Valadez Middle School Academy team as the principal. I am proud of the amazing work that is done day in and day out at VMSA, and I am incredibly honored to have landed in the Soaring Eagles’ nest.
I have served in various capacities in the Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District since 2003. For the past five years, I have been the principal at Topaz Elementary School. Before that, I served at Tynes Elementary School as their assistant principal for two years. In addition, I taught many years at both Tynes and Wagner Elementary— mainly in 6th grade. My years of experience serving our Title 1 community has filled me with a passion to serve others, and an unwavering belief that ALL students can achieve success when met with high expectations in a nurturing environment. The needs of Title I were a focus of my doctoral dissertation which I successfully defended in the spring of 2020.
On a personal note, I live in Anaheim Hills with my husband, our twin sons, and three dogs. My husband and one son work in education as well. Our other son works in the engineering field in Fullerton.

Es tanto un honor como un privilegio servir al equipo de la Academia de la Escuela Intermedia Valadez como directora. Estoy orgullosa del increíble trabajo que se realiza día tras día en VMSA, y me siento increíblemente honrada de haber aterrizado en el nido de Soaring Eagles.
He servido en varias capacidades en el Distrito Escolar Unificado de Placentia-Yorba Linda desde el 2003. Durante los últimos cinco años, he sido la directora de la Escuela Primaria Topaz. Antes de eso, trabajé en la Escuela Primaria Tynes como subdirectora durante dos años. Además, enseñé muchos años en las escuelas primarias Tynes y Wagner, principalmente en sexto grado. Mis años de experiencia sirviendo a nuestra comunidad de Título I me han llenado de pasión por servir a los demás y una creencia inquebrantable de que TODOS los estudiantes pueden lograr el éxito cuando cumplen con altas expectativas en un entorno enriquecedor. Las necesidades del Título I fueron el foco de mi tesis doctoral que defendí con éxito en la primavera de 2020.
En una nota personal, vivo en Anaheim Hills con mi esposo, nuestros hijos gemelos y tres perros. Mi esposo y un hijo también trabajan en educación. Nuestro otro hijo trabaja en ingeniería en Fullerton.
